Nadra Modhihiri Mohamed, a citizen of Sweden, is currently embroiled in legal troubles in Kenya, facing serious allegations related to an attempted fraudulent acquisition of property in Eastleigh.

She appeared before the Milimani Law Courts, where she entered a plea of not guilty to three charges: conspiracy to defraud, forgery, and obtaining land registration under false pretenses.

These charges arise from an alleged scheme to deceive her stepmother out of a property valued at Ksh 110 million. During the latest court session, it was revealed that Nadra has secured a court order to suspend the proceedings of the lower court case.

The allegations detail that on November 5, 2011, she, along with unidentified accomplices, conspired to defraud the estate of the late Modhihiri Mohamed Modhihiri concerning a property identified as LR NO. 36/VII/465, which spans approximately 0.2085 hectares in Eastleigh, Nairobi.

It is claimed that she created a forged indenture of conveyance, falsely registered under presentation number 447 of 8/12/2011, fully aware of its fraudulent nature. Additionally, she faces charges for forging a title deed for the aforementioned land and for unlawfully obtaining its registration by falsely asserting that she had purchased it from the late Modhihiri Mohamed for Ksh 30 million, despite knowing this claim to be untrue.
